Germany - this is not only the birthplace of some of the well known makes of cars like BMW, Mercedess, but also one of the destinations, which are mostly desired by tourists. And there is a pretty good reason for this. No matter your requirements, in Germany you will find whatever you wish for. Let's start with the charming Rhine river cruises and pay honour to the traditional and quite famous Oktoberfest, then move to the cultural hotbed of Berlin and the fascinating thrill of skiing or snowboarding in the Alps. You see, every single one of your desires can become reality when it comes to Germany. Are you a car lover? If yes, then there is definitely a city you have to visit, if you go to Germany. That's right - the so called Mecca for Car Lovers - Stuttgart. In Stuttgart a new Mercedes Benz Museum has just opened. Legendary automobiles, technology and research, adventure, myths and milestones provide the new museum with a host of stirring stories of interest to all the family. For the youngest guests there will also be a children's area and an inventor's workshop. Want to feel the night life? The perfect destination - Berlin. Berlin is the capital of modern Germany. It is a city which has a vibe all of its own, and wherever you go, you can experience the pulsating life on the boulevards, in the art galleries and at the flea markets, and in the city's 300 clubs and 7,000 bars and restaurants - many of which are open around the clock. Do not make the mistake of passing by Hamburg. Run right through it. Hamburg is known as the gateway to the world. Why so? Well, let's put it just in four words - Hamburg as it all! Have a look around it and you will see the perfect location - on two rivers - the Elbe an the Alster rivers, captivating night life in St.Pauli, magnificent pieces of art like theatre, musicals; the amazing harbour... Does the name of the famous Zeil shopping street rings a bell? Sure it does, because here comes the marvellous Frankfurt with its internationally renowned trade fair centre and the picturesque Römerberg square And finally something that every connoisseur will assess at its true worth! The German Wine Route - a cruise, which has become surprisingly famous these days. This is mainly because this trip is for those who love life, wine, good old-fashioned Gemütlichkeit and award-winning cuisine, all in celebration of the grape. The idea of a tourist route must have been a good one, or it wouldn't have been so widely copied elsewhere. And last but not at all least - the Munich's Oktoberfest! Beer, more beer, and even more beer! There simply aren't enough superlatives to describe the world-famous Oktoberfest. Held on the Wies’n fairground from the middle of September to the beginning of October, the festival is opened with the traditional cry of "O'zapft is" (the barrel is tapped). Surely you are now considering the idea of visiting Germany, aren't you? And you will not be disappointed if you choose to join the millions of visitors who Germany warmly welcomes every year
